  • B. Sc. Biotechnology (CBCS)
    Program helps in understanding biotechnology as an interdisciplinary branch of science, the concepts and technical applications touch an array of disciplines. Students obtain fundamentals and technical skills necessary for higher studies and core industry requirements

  • M. Sc. Biotechnology (CBCS)
    • To provide knowledge and skills to execute qualitative advanced tasks in biotechnology related companies, or establish own ventures.
    • Students will be able to design, conduct experiments, analyse and interpret data for investigating problems in biotechnology and allied fields. On completion of the course, the students should be able to independently conduct research, or application work within related fields of biotechnology.
    • Syllabus is designed so that the students have a competitive edge in industries. Specializations are offered as electives in the domains of pharmaceutical and agricultural biotechnology.
    • The elective special paper is of 200 marks - extending into 2 semesters. Part I of elective paper contains introductory and various broad areas. Part II of the elective contains latest developments, applications and advanced research in that field. Specializations provide credible, in-depth knowledge so that students are better equipped for research and industry requirements.
    • Program is designed to equip the students for a career in research in reputed institutes at national and international levels.
